Employment and Education

Employment is one of the spearheads to integrate people in society, hence the PSWC undertakes various initiatives in that area. First of all, anyone can join a guidance programme through the PSWC. The social workers guide their clients in finding the right education and job, and on their first steps on the work floor.

The guidance offered by the PSWC is financially supported by the Federal Public Service for Social Integration.

Measures whereby the PSWC receives a grant for being a guide or an employer.

• 1) Employment under application of article 60, 7 of the organic Act of 8 July 1976 on the public centres for social welfare.
  • Increased contribution of the federal government for the PSWCs for employment under application of article 60, par. 7, if the employee is committed to socio-economic initiatives.
• 2) Employment under application of article 61, 7 of the organic Act of 8 July 1976 on the public centres for social welfare.

Measures whereby the PSWC makes a financial contribution to expenses connected with the integration in professional practice of a person entitled to social welfare.
