Heating Allowance

To meet the price increase of petroleum products, the Minister of Social Integration decided to launch several support measures. If you think you are entitled to support from the Social Heating Fund, you should contact the PSWC of your municipality within 60 days of the energy supply.

The PSWC will check:

• whether you are indeed in one of the categories of the target group;
• whether you are indeed using a fuel that falls in the support arrangement;
• whether the address on the bill coincides with the delivery address and the address of your usual whereabouts; whether you meet the income limits described above;

Information on your income and that of members of your household will be digitally obtained directly from the Federal Government Service - Finance. The PSWC can contact you in case more information is required.

The PSWC will require the following documents:

• In any case a copy of the delivery bill or note. If you live in a building containing several apartments, you should ask the owner or manager of the building for a copy of the bill and an attestation with a description of the number of apartments included in the bill.
• your ID card,
• upon request of the PSWC, proof of family income (the most recent assessment notice, wage slip, attestation of social welfare received, etc.).
